Having a good voice isn’t the defining quality of what makes a good voice-over artist. Really, anyone can do voice-over if they have the ability to interpret a script honestly and convincingly. It has nothing to do with having great pipes. Acting ability and experience is more important to the success of a voice-over artist. That is why it is sometimes referred to as voice-acting.
